Many of us have a healthy bias toward getting into action. Overused, though can cause more harm than good. (See the book When Helping Hurts). This is why we save Act for step 4. Action must be informed by understanding the complex dynamics and concern for many varied stakeholders.
Aligning with great people will make our actions more informed by the best practices and understanding of the issues.
And having allocated time, money, and resources will help you have the stamina to act when results don't come quickly.
